Pre-Booking
Please note that with the success of the pre-booking we have been doing at Winthorpe we will continue this when we move back to the show ground.

The benefits have been obvious, in that we have been starting earlier and thus finishing earlier this if it continues will allow us to look at the option of running a round of finals, making 4 races for each driver, but we will look at that at a later date.

NEW AMBrc transponder system
With the club wanting to purchase NEW AMBrc transponder system, we need to raise £3500 (the cost); it has been decided to raise the entry fee to £4 per week. This will be the first rise since we purchased the current transponders 4 years ago and I am sure you will agree that costs have been kept low for a long time.

This increase will become effective from the 1st SEPTEMBER 2006

We have also discussed and decided that to encourage drivers to book in on line or through the shop any one who just turns up on the night and expects to drive will have to pay an increased entry fee of £5.

Club Clothing get yours now
Can I remind you all that the club currently has a substantial amount of club funds tied up in club clothing and would encourage you all to make sure you buy your Polo Shirts, Hoddies and Caps to enable that money to go back in to the club bank account......

Newark RCCC is now a BRCA affiliated club.
This means that to be able to race at Newark you must be a member of the BRCA.
You can either join direct by applying to them and paying the current full membership fee of £13 or you can join through your local club by paying their membership fee or you can join Newark RCCC for the sum of £12 which includes BRCA membership.

New drivers are able to race 3 times in a one off 6 week period before they need to join; this allows them the opportunity to see if they really want to take up the sport of radio control car racing.

Membership forms are available from
Tony Hobson, Club Secretary
